Hi, what are you looking for?

Sapulpa

Quick Hits with Sapulpa Volleyball’s Raeni Tucker – Presented by Rebecca LaFevers State Farm

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year and season?

Raeni: Growing together more as a team. Improve my vertical and just as an all-around player. Be the best I can be. Help my team have a successful season & work towards beating our school’s Ace record. Keep good grades. I want all of us to have a good and fun season!

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Raeni: Jellystone! Boating! VOLLEYBALL!

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Raeni: Coach Humphreys. I got to spend a lot of time with her. She was a good coach and passionate about teaching English. I loved her class!

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Raeni: I have had a lot of great memories and my teammates have definitely made a lot of them. Definitely suiting and getting to play some varsity last year as a freshman, going to Regionals, and State! Getting selected for the All-Tournament team with 101 schools attending this year was really awesome. The OU camp and getting to learn from Megan and Alexis and Coach Walton knowing my name! Also, going to regionals for tennis. I placed fifth and qualified as a state alternate.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Raeni: Ryann Hoey class of 2022. I’ve watched her play and looked up to her since I started playing in the sixth grade. She plays my same positions and is REALLY REALLY good! She’s helped me a lot the last two years. She’s nice and a good role model. Thanks Ryann!!

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your Coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Raeni: Kinzie does the best impression of Coach probably. Funniest things are tough one because they’re all funny. I’m gonna go with Mataya though, she’s always up to doing something that makes me laugh.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Raeni: The Bahamas with my family.

VYPE: If we have you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

Raeni: A new phone.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Raeni: Thank you to my family for always supporting me with Volleyball and everything. Love you guys!!!
