Brandy Jarvis stays invested in whatever way she can when it comes to her children and their involvement in sports at Sand Springs.
Jarvis, the mother of Madori Bland, a freshman on the Drury University stunt team, Laylah Bland, a junior cheerleader at Charles Page High School, and Kollyns Jarvis, a fourth grader at Garfield Elementary who is involved with dance, does whatever is needed.
“Honestly, I volunteer for whatever is needed with any of the sporting events that my kids are involved in. I love to be a part of anything they do,” Brandy said.
“I feel it is extremely important for parents to be involved with anything their kids do, of course if they can. It shows the kids that their parents are invested in what they enjoy.”
“I love being involved not only for my own kids, but the team as a whole,” she added. “I love when my kids come home and tell me about a new routine they learned, or a skill they hit that they may have been struggling with. Watching them succeed in something they love is an amazing feeling for me. I also enjoy being available for the team as another person in their corner.”
Brandy enjoys family vacations during her free time.
“We enjoy going on family vacations when we are not running with one of their sporting events,” she said. “The beach is always our favorite place to visit.”
