Sand Springs Football Preview: Offense – Presented by Eric Davidson State Farm

Head coach – Bobby Klinck

2021: 8-4

Last season, the Sandites fell just short of playing for the Class 6A-II championship. But they enter this season with a lot of new faces that are hungry and ready to compete. Third-year head coach, Bobby Klinck, says that he is ready to see what their younger players can do with this opportunity. “We will be replacing fifteen total starters on our team,” he said. “Seven of those are on offense and eight on the defensive side. Our overall team speed should be better and this being our third year, the program and culture have been established. We are very excited to see some of our younger talent have an opportunity to compete for starting positions.” Returning for their senior season is the receiver duo of Brody Rutledge (6-3, 200, Sr.) and Jacob Blevins (6-0, 180, Sr.). They will look to have an explosive season and be key players for the Sandites. While the team will have a new face at quarterback, running back Kenneth Page (6-0, 200, Jr.) will bring some stability to the backfield and be a threat to break a long run. Mason Harris (6-1, 250, Jr.) will anchor the offensive line and will work to protect his teammates in the backfield.
