Lincoln Christian’s Preston Whitmarsh has played competitive golf for 18 months. Now a senior, Whitmarsh is ready to represent the Bulldogs in competition and help the golf team in tournaments.
“I think our team is going to be really solid this year with the upperclassman that we have,” said Whitmarsh. “I love that we all care about each other and push each other to get better”

In golf, working on your game never ends. For Whitmarsh, this offseason he has worked to improve his physical and mental aspects of his game.
“I have been working to improve all aspects of my game and trying to improve the mental side of golf,” said Whitmarsh.

As a student-athlete at Lincoln Christian, Whitmarsh said the support the students get is unmatched.
“The ability to have coaches who truly care about you and want to see you get better on and off the course/field is what I love the most,” said Whitmarsh.

Whitmarsh is a member of National Honor Society and said he enjoys science. The senior is making plans for life after high school.
“My favorite subject is Science/Physics, and my favorite teacher is my Bible teacher David Waters. After I graduate, I plan to attend a golf academy gap-year program in Hilton Head, South Carolina,” said Whitmarsh.

Away from school Whitmarsh said he enjoys having bon fires and playing poker with his friends. When the opportunity arises Whitmarsh said his favorite course to play is his home course at The Patriot Golf Club.
