Coach: Jason Bogle
21-22 Record: 21-4
The Riverfield Ravens and head coach Jason Bogle return this season with four starters back from last year’s state tournament team. “This is a very focused team that loves to play basketball and be around each other,” Bogle said. “They work every day to achieve the goals that they have set as a team.” This season the Ravens will play the beginning of their season on the road as they wait for the completion of a new basketball gymnasium in January. With a team full of experienced upperclassmen, the Ravens are up for the challenge.
Davieon Clinton (6-0, Sr.) is an athletic guard with great speed and leaping ability. He can score in a variety of ways and continues to work hard every day to improve his game. Clinton Last season averaged 17.0 points and 4.0 steals per game while making an impact on both sides of the court.
Braeden Clinton (6-0, Jr.) is an on the court leader that everyone on the team looks up to. He has a tremendous basketball IQ and is a skilled ball handler and passer. B. Clinton can get to the rim and finish or stretch the floor and shoot at a high percentage from behind the arc. Last season he averaged 18.0 points and 4.0 assists per game. Look for both Clintons to lead the Ravens in scoring most nights. Kamden Snell (5-11, Sr.) is another player in the backcourt that can score at an efficient rate and looks to have a solid senior season. As a junior Snell averaged 12.0 points per game.
Jack Thomas (6-4, Sr.) has good size and is a tenacious rebounder averaging 7.0 boards per game. Thomas will be joined by Cameron Rutterford (6-5, Jr.) who also provides good size in the frontcourt. Also look for Eli Scoggins (6-1, Sr.), Anthony Harper (6-2, So.), and Johnson Hale (6-1, Jr.) to all make an impact this winter as the Ravens look to make another run at the state tournament.
