VYPE: What are your goals for this season?

Bailey: A big goal I have for this season is to have fun and enjoy every last bit of my senior season, but I also want to challenge myself and my team to make it farther than a Summit Christian team has in a long time. This is going to require many hours of workouts and film but I know that this team is capable of doing so.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Bailey: After tearing my ACL the summer before my junior year I had to face a lot of trials that required perseverance. Going through the recovery process and getting all the skills I had before back, it taught me that life requires work 24/7. You can’t expect things to be handed to you you have to work hard to earn what you want.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Bailey: I would have to say my favorite teacher would have been my 6th grade English teacher, Mrs. Elliot. She always made class fun but also pushed us to be our best by challenging us.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Bailey: My parents are my biggest inspiration. They have always been my number one supporters and they use what they have learned through their lives to help me learn in mine while following in Gods word. I am blessed to have such a caring family who I know will always be there for me when I need them.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Bailey: I’m not sure I could choose just one teammate in particular that made the biggest impression on me. After going through my ACL injury and transferring schools I was lucky to be welcomed with open arms into the Summit Lady Eagles where I have met some of the sweetest and most supportive girls. Each and every one of these girls has made an impression on my life that I will never forget.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Bailey: My favorite part about being on a team is the friendships that you make. By spending as much time as you do with your team, you create strong bonds with people who you may normally have not thought you would. I personally have met some life long friends by being on the team I am now.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Bailey: I have always loved going to Florida and spending time on the beach and just enjoying the sun. I would take my family with me because some of the best memories I have made have been with them on our vacations together.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Bailey: I am passionate about my sport because of the joy I feel while playing. Having played since a very young age it has always been a favorite activity of mine that I always loved doing. It has also taught me many life lessons in working hard, teamwork, and perseverance which I apply to my daily life.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Bailey: I wanna say thank you to all the coaches and teammates I’ve had over the years. They all got me to where I am today, and a big thank you to my family for always supporting me.
