VYPE Top 100 nominees Macee Matthews and Gia Dennis will give Coweta and head coach Jade Allison some star power in 2023-24. Matthews (6-0, F, Jr.) will be in third year as a starter and can play both inside and out, and Dennis (5-5, G) is an incoming freshman who will help the Tigers in the backcourt as a great athlete and great mind for the game, according to Allsion. “We return some experience and gain some youth,” Allison said.

Emersyn Eischien (5-9, F), Tayen Allen (5-7, G), Jaycee Messinger (5-3, G) and Kate Little (5-5, G) will each also play key parts this season as juniors. Sophomores expected to contribute are Zoe Childress (5-6, G) and Kaylee King (5-3, G). Joining Dennis as freshmen on the roster include Eastyn DeHues (5-5, G), Nyah Addison (5-6, G), Ebony Bell (5-10, F) and Gracie Sanders (5-10, F). Assistant coaches for the Tigers are Brandon Wilson and Larry Grigg.
