VICTORY CHRISTIAN CONQUERORS

BOYS

Coach: Ryan Wakley

22-23 Record: 17-10

With a good mix of players returning to the court for coach Ryan Wakley, the confidence level is growing, and the players are ready to show what they can do. “Looking forward this year. We have a very good mix of players that complement each other every well. If we can stay healthy it has a chance to be special year,” said Wakley. One player turning heads is VYPE Top 100 nominee Chris Mason (Sr.).

Mason is an outstanding talent and according to coach Wakley, an outstanding young man. “[Mason] has really grown as a player and person. He can score at all three levels. Look forward him having an amazing senior year,” said Wakley. Another Mason is looking to make a statement this season. Gene Mason (Fr.), the younger brother of Chris, will take the court with his older brother this season as the Mason brothers spend one season together, giving them the opportunity to do something special together. Everyone believes Gene has a bright future for VC. Another player to watch is Evan Migliore (Sr.). Migliore is the guy who is willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. “A senior who does all the little things that help the team. Good basketball IQ and just always seems to make the right play,” said Wakley. Assisting coach Wakley this season are Jeff Farquhar, James Doctor, Ted Davis, Kyron Stokes, Josh Musick, and Paul Harvey.
