2023 Victory Christian Lady Conquerors Basketball Preview – Presented by Oklahoma Driving School

GIRLS

Coach: Jeff Farquhar

22-23 Record: 12-12

New head coach Jeff Farquhar takes over the Lady Conquerors program and is excited to get this team on the court. “With a fresh start and building on a 12-12 record from the previous season, the Lady Conquerors have the advantage of experience, returning the entire roster,” said Farquhar. Anchoring the team this season are seniors Laci Scott (5-7, G), and Alex Terverbaugh (6-0, C). “Their combination of seasoned players and continuity promises an exciting season ahead,” said Farquhar. Scott led the team in scoring and assists from her point guard spot last year. Katie Elliott (5-8, Sr.) is another guard with good experience and leadership. Other seniors include Mia Brown (5-6, G), Launa Soto (5-6, G), and Karis

Reece (5-8, F). Soto brings high-energy to the floor and brings intensity to the defensive end. Canadee Farquhar (5-8, Jr.) will see time at forward while guards Trinity Cato (5-7, Jr.), and Sarahi Beltran (5-5, Jr.) are looking to make contributions and give the Lady Conquerors depth at the position. Underclassmen Eden Edwards (5-6, So.) and Hannah Rainey (5-9, So.) bring their talent to the lineup this season with another year of experience to lean on. Newcomers Glory Lambert (5-6, Fr.), and Valerie Courtney (6-0, Fr.) enter their first season of varsity play and are ready to prove themselves as players who can be counted on for solid minutes this season.
