Kylie Connor is a senior at Cascia Hall and a member of the varsity tennis team. Being a member of the tennis team is just one of the activities Connor is involved in as a Commando. 

“I love that Cascia Hall tennis has allowed me to form friendships with my teammates and coaches. I love the competitive nature of tennis because it challenges me to strategize, makes matches more thrilling, and makes winning much more satisfying,” said Connor. 

Connor is a member of Key Club, French Club, Art Club, Native American Club, and Mahjong Club. Like many of her peers, Connor has a favorite subject in school that carries over into her personal life. 

“My favorite subject is English because I love reading and writing, and I like that it helps me improve my communication skills,” said Connor. 

The senior is attending an ACT prep course at Huntington Learning Center to ensure she has the test scores to get into the college of her choice. 

“I started attending Huntington to improve my ACT score. The staff is welcoming, encouraging, patient, and has successfully helped me increase my overall ACT score,” said Connor. 

While Connor is taking care of things in the classroom, this spring she will turn her attention to helping the Cascia Hall tennis team as a doubles player. 

“I have played tennis since 7th grade. l prefer playing doubles because I find it more exciting, and I love that it encourages communication and coordination between players. This season I hope to have fun with my friends, and make a lot of memories with my teammates,” said Connor. 

Connor said she enjoys spending time with friends and family away from school and tennis. With a little more than a semester left, Connor said she wants her class to be remembered for being hardworking, inclusive, and fun.
