9 Questions with Calissta Armentor – Presented by Rib Crib

VYPE: Calissta, what grade are you in this year and when did you start playing softball? 

Armentor: I am in the 10th grade, and I have played softball since I was five years old.

VYPE: You also wrestled this season, what was that like for you? 

Armentor: This was my first year wrestling and I loved it. It was very exhilarating and a great new experience. 

VYPE: What do you love about being a student-athlete at Skiatook High School? 

Armentor: I love being able to get a good education and play the sports I love. 

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates in the sports you play? 

Armentor: I love the bonds me and my teammates have, they’re always up for a fun time. 

VYPE: How do you like to spend your free time? 

Armentor: I am not in any school groups. In my free time I love watching sports and going fishing with my papa. 

VYPE: What’s your favorite memory as a student-athlete wrestling for the Bulldogs? 

Armentor: My favorite memory as a student athlete, was placing 3rd as a team for wrestling regionals. 

VYPE: What about softball? Any great memories there? 

Armentor: Making it to state my freshman year with softball. 

VYPE: Who is a player to watch for softball season? 

Armentor: Jadyn Whinery is such an amazing pitcher and is a great person to be able to know. 

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate? 

Armentor: I would like to be a cosmetologist after I graduate.
