9 Questions with Skiatook’s Hunter Howell – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE: Hunter, you’re a varsity soccer player at SHS, but are you involved in any other clubs or groups at school?

Howell: I am in National honor society, Bulldogs for Christ, and I attend Tulsa Tech. 

VYPE: What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Skiatook HS?

Howell: I love getting to play soccer and basketball for my school and get to play with my best friends. 

VYPE: What grade are you in this year and when did you start playing soccer?

Howell: I am a junior and I have played since I was four years old.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates on the soccer team?

Howell: They are positive and hardworking; they are always trying to get better. 

VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject or a favorite teacher?

Howell: I like my engineering program at Tulsa Tech and Mrs. Cammuso is my favorite teacher. 

VYPE: What aspect of your game have you worked on the most coming into the season?

Howell: My shooting accuracy and power has improved the most over the past year. 

VYPE: What is the goal for this year?

Howell: My goal is for my team to make playoffs and I would like to score more goals than I did last year. We are working hard to get ready for the season.

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?

Howell: I would like to continue to play soccer in college. 

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Howell: I enjoy hanging out with my friends.
