Owasso senior defensive frontman Tyler Rich has been named an Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State selection.
The 2023 OCA All-State game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, July 28 at a to-be-determined venue. Rich will be Owasso’s lone representative on the East team.
Rich accounted for 60 total tackles last season, including a whopping 24 for losses. He pressured opposing quarterbacks 15 times and recorded six sacks. He signed to play at the University of Tulsa earlier this month.
Rich is also among the top-ranked heavyweight wrestlers in Oklahoma 6A wrestling.
