Kiefer’s Tiffany Capehart – Teacher Spotlight – Presented by: Wade’s RV

In the halls of Kiefer High School, a unique tale unfolds, a story of two sisters, Tiffany and Monica, who not only graduated from their alma mater but have dedicated their lives to shaping the minds of future generations within its familiar walls.

Tiffany, a proud member of Kiefer High School’s Class of 1991, embarked on her journey in the world of education armed with a Bachelor of Arts from Oklahoma State University in 1996. Her passion for art and commitment to fostering creativity led her to pursue a Masters of Education in 2022. Tiffany’s teaching odyssey began at Clinton Middle School in Tulsa, followed by a stint at Sperry Public Schools. However, her heart found its home at Kiefer High School, where she has dedicated an impressive 24 years to education. Alongside teaching, Tiffany’s coaching prowess was evident in her roles as a basketball and softball coach, leaving an indelible mark on her students before retiring from coaching in 2021.

Monica, Tiffany’s sister, graduated from Kiefer High School in 1993, continuing the family legacy. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tulsa in 1999 and a Masters of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2012, Monica has accumulated 25 years of experience in the field of education. Currently serving as the elementary librarian at Oliver Elementary in Kiefer, Monica brings her love for literature and learning to the young minds she encounters daily.

The roots of education run deep in the sisters’ family. Their parents, both teachers and coaches, laid the foundation for a commitment to lifelong learning. Remarkably, the legacy extends further, with two other sisters joining the educational ranks, each holding a Masters of Education.

The sisters’ connection to Kiefer High School is more than professional; it’s personal. It’s a story of homecoming, where the very classrooms that shaped their early years now bear witness to their impact as educators. The familiar faces, shared memories, and a profound understanding of the community contribute to the unique fabric of their teaching experiences.

As Tiffany and Monica continue to inspire and guide the students of Kiefer, they carry forward a torch ignited by their parents and passed down through the family ranks. Their journey is not merely a career in education; it’s a testament to the enduring power of knowledge, the strength of familial bonds, and the significance of giving back to the place that nurtured them into the educators they are today.
