Hi, what are you looking for?

Collinsville

Q & A with Collinsville’s Parker Knight Presented by Redbud Physical Therapy

VYPE: What motivates you?
Parker: Seeing my team progress throughout the season.
VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models? Why?
Parker: My brother because he is one of the strongest people I know and will do anything for
anyone.
VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life? How?
Parker: My sixth grade teacher, Mrs Burd. She taught me how to be a good human and taught
me so much that I know today. Also how to be kind when nobody is watching.

VYPE: What has it taken to be successful in your sports?
Parker: Put in the work every week no matter how you feel.
VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
Parker: Winning Nationals on my summer team with my best friends.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most with in practice? Why?
Parker: My teammate Avery Cotton. I can be having the worst day and she will have my back
through it. She will also help me get better and throw me ground balls when I mess up.
VYPE: Who is the least appreciated player on your team? Why?
Parker: Emma Helm. No one sees how much work she puts in when nobody is watching. She is
one of the strongest people I know.
VYPE: Who is your favorite person you follow on social media? Why?
Parker: Jayda Coleman. I love seeing all of her posts and seeing how much work she puts in
and seeing her outcome.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
Parker: To me it means to keep a good attitude and always be there for my teammates no
matter what. It makes me proud to play for my school.
