Hi, what are you looking for?

Bixby

Q&A with Bixby’s Noah Campbell – Presented by Cashmere Home

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
NC: My goals are studying for the ACT and maintaining my GPA. Growing my personal friendships is a huge importance in my life.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
NC: The most fun I have had in the last year was in Oklahoma City after the Savannah Bananas game. My friend and I played in the Baytown arcade and the two of us with my parents played mini-golf late at night. The time when I have the most fun in my life is when I am with my friends and family.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
NC: My favorite teacher was my 7th and 8th grade math teacher. My favorite subject is math and he helped me find my passion for math. In 9th grade every Friday I went to his classroom to help him with torturing. Before Bixby, at my old school, I played football. Before every game, I would do math and he is the reason I still love math to this day.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

NC: My favorite athletic memory is that I hit my first hole-in-one at my last 7th grade golf tournament
on my last hole. My Dad was there and he hit his first hole-in-one nine days prior. It was an extremely great feeling to share that moment with my Dad.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
NC: There are two teammates that left an equal amount of impression on me for different reasons. The first one was Conor Edison. He inspires me to be the leader he was not because he was the best, but how he reacted to adversity he came up to. The Second one was Parker Friedrichsen. He is going to Wake Forest to play basketball next year. He shows how to be successful on and off the golf course. Every day he shows up and finds a way to be successful, nomader the score on the scoreboard or scorecard.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
NC: My favorite part of being on a team is the bond that the people on the team create. The team is like family; you fight for each other in any situation. In competition it’s your team against the other team/teams.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
NC: If I had a choice of any place to go for summer vacation it would be Scotland and I would go with my parents and my three closest friends. I would love to go tour castles and learn of the history of the Scottish Clans and how they lived.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you
spend it on?
NC: If I was given 500 dollars I would spend it on something simple like storage racks that I could put on the walls of the garage so I could fit my truck in the garage when I turn sixteen and receive my license.

VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
NC: I serve in my local youth groups and the service they do. Being involved with the church is important to me.

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

NC: I am involved with my youth group. Every Wednesday we come together and worship God and
thank Him for all the things He has done in our lives.

VYPE: Are you involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor
Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?
NC: I am in NJHS and I am in honors classes in Math, History, and English.
