Q&A with Sapulpa’s Kylar Bearpaw – Presented by Sapulpa Dentistry and Braces

VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?

Kylar: My main goal for this year is to host a home playoff game.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Kylar: My sport has taught me to trust my friends around and to believe in them as well.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Kylar: My favorite is probably Ms. Hammer. She was my 4th grade teacher and she was just a really fun teacher.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Kylar: My mom inspires me because she works very hard to support my family and is always around.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Kylar: The teammate that left the biggest impression on me was this kid named Mason who played on my first grade team. He was playing up a grade level and was the shortest kid on the team, but it showed me that if his height couldn’t stop him nothing could stop me.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Kylar: The best thing about being on a team is being able to build friendships and trust that someone has your back.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.

Kylar: I think the most athletic person in my family is Christian Littlehead, because he played at OSU and was their defensive tackle.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?

Kylar: I wish I could play baseball because I used to play and wasn’t too bad at it.

VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song?

Kylar: My go-to pregame song is “Freestyle” by Lil Baby.
