Collinsville’s Ty McNeal Football Spotlight – Presented by RibCrib

Collinsville High School’s Ty McNeal has played football for six years and head coach Kevin
Jones calls McNeal the “most diligent player on the team.”
The left guard is entering his senior year and said he loves playing on this team and he
loves his teammates.
“I love the relationships I’ve formed with the guys over the years. I feel like our entire team
works hard because our coaches tell us that we need to prove ourselves each day.

They
always remind us that everyone must give maximum effort to help the team be successful,”
said McNeal.
Football is his only sport, but McNeal does find time to be involved in National Honor
Society. McNeal is an outstanding student and is beginning to make plans for his future.
“My career path is still undecided, but I plan to attend college and focus on a degree in
business or accounting,” said McNeal.
The senior said his parents have been a huge influence in his life and he appreciates their
support and encouragement on and off the field.
“I feel like I’ve been fortunate to have a lot of positive influences, but the two most
influential are my parents,” said McNeal.
Away from football, McNeal said he enjoys watching football, playing video games,
attending church events,  and spending time with friends and family.
