Owasso Area Basketball Players to Watch – Presented by J&K Equipment Rentals

BOYS BASKETBALL

Zac Brown – Collinsville

An outstanding player on both ends of the court, Brown is an instrumental piece of the Cardinals basketball team.

Titus Miller – Catoosa

Miller averaged 15 points per game last season. He is receiving looks from some colleges and hopes to break into the 1,000 career points club this season.

Aidan Bland – Foyil

Aidan is a senior with a good all- around game. He is coming off a bad hand injury that kept him off the floor last season. If he stays healthy look for him to put up some impressive numbers this season.

Ben Baron – Oologah

Baron is a hard worker and is always ready to do whatever it takes to help the team be successful.

Jaron Foote – Rejoice Christian

Jaron is a point guard with a very high basketball IQ. He is very quick with a very tight handle and can score anywhere on the floor. He has an unbelievable court sense and knows exactly where everybody is at.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Zoe Brown –Catoosa

Zoe led the team in rebounds last year, as well as scoring. She has great hands and the body to crash the boards. She can handle the ball, loves the mid range jumper and is fearless when it comes to defense.

Brie Smith – Collinsville

Brie has the ability to score in the post and also on the perimeter. She excels at the catch and shoot and also attacking from the high post. Brie is a matchup problem for most teams and the Cardinals are looking for her to help take the program on a long playoff run this season.

Alexis Martin – Oologah

She is an outstanding athlete that can score at will. Martin is a dynamic basketball player that will have a major impact on the Lady Mustangs season.

Makenna Yokley – Owasso

Yokley is a match up nightmare with her size. Her length allows her to play on the post but she can handle the ball extremely well and take defenders off the dribble.

Lexi Henson – Rejoice Christian

Lexi is an incredible player and very solid point guard. She is known for her quick shot at the perimeter and behind the arc. She has really matured over the years as a player and is very respected on the court. She is also an incredible leader. Away from the court, she is a straight-A student, volunteers at numerous events, and i r in our school in many areas.

Luke Beauchamp – Catoosa

Luke is a hard worker and spends a lot of his free time in the weight room or gym. . He is in love with the weight room and is constantly in the gym in his free time. He plays hard and is a machine on the offensive rebounds.

Jaxon Ward – Foyil

Jaxon is a relentless worker in the post. He’s the type of kid every coach wants on their team, great attitude and effort.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Makayla Meadows – Collinsville

Makayla was voted Co-Defensive Player of the Year last season. A three- sport athlete, Makayla brings her full energy and effort to every practice and game. She wants the challenge of guarding the best player and is very competitive. She will not always score a ton but will affect the game with her defense, rebounding, hustle plays, and ability to push the ball.

Addy Pruitt – Owasso

Pruitt does all the dirty work. She is tough and not phased by physical play. Her natural nose for the basketball finds her in key plays and situations every game. Her commitment to hard work is one of the most recognizable attributes of the team.

Sarah Heiskell – Rejoice Christian

Sarah is a freshman and will outwork anyone on the court. She always shows up with a smile and a great attitude. She pushes those around her to work harder and she communicates incredibly well on and off the court.
