Owasso Lady Rams Wrestling Preview – Presented by Renaissance Realty

Head coach Justin Morsey has plenty to look forward to this season. He has several new faces on the team but does return a solid nucleus of talent.

“We are a new team this year but are returning four girls from last year,” said coach Morsey.

Sidney Milligan (Sr.) is a two-time state runner-up and a three-time state placer.

“Sidney is our team captain. Her success and leadership is one of the main reasons that we have grown from just four girls last year, to 14 now. She is nationally ranked, and a Fargo Junior Nationals qualifier in Freestyle. She has several offers to wrestle in college and will be making a decision soon,” said coach Morsey.

Mak Gregg (So.) is another returning state qualifier for the Lady Rams.

“She is looking to improve on last season and challenge for a state championship. She is a Fargo 16U nationals qualifier, and 16U state champion in freestyle,” said coach Morsey.

Another wrestler to watch this season is Mallory Henderson. She will be a tough out for any opponent she faces this season.

With a wrestling room that continues to fill up, coach Morsey and the Lady Rams are on the brink of a big year.

Owasso has yet to crown a girl’s state champion. This could be the year.
