Owasso swimming preview – Presented by 3Natives

The Owasso swim program is reaching new heights and this season, head coach Jenn Rudeen has everyone in the program focused and looking forward to a great season. 

“Our team has been increasing in speed and strength thus far in the season and continues to gel as a cohesive unit. They are incredibly hardworking and talented. It’s exciting to see where they came from and watch them evolve,” said coach Rudeen.

Member of the team this season include Alexia Sang (Sr.), Taylor Hamilton (Sr.), Alex Twomey (Sr.), Chloe Taylor (Jr.), Sam Suppes (Jr.), Ben Hopper (So.), Noah Stubbs (Jr.), Brandon Bucker (Jr.), Vaughn Hearn (So.), Izzy Peters (Jr.), Alicia Rodriguez (Jr.), Kloey Tunnell (Sr.), Katelyn Crossman (Jr.), Yseult Helle (Sr.), Abby Wilson (So.), Amelia Suppes (Fr.), Kylee Pedersen (Fr.), Katelyn McGhee (Fr.), Kami Dawson (Fr.), and Dulcce Boyzo (Fr.).

Sam Suppes (Jr.) and Alexia Sang (Sr.) will lead their respective teams this season and coach Rudeen has trust in their leadership. 

“Sam is a great leader and continues to get faster and stronger every year. He goes above and beyond at practices while still having fun,” coach Rudeen said. “I have had the honor to coach (Sang) for the last four years and am not only impressed by her work-ethic and drive but also how far she has come physically and mentally. She is a leader in and out of the water and strives for excellence physically but also academically.”
