Kobie: Basketball has taught me that things come to you depending how hard you work for it. I use this everyday in the classroom and being a good friend to my peers.

VYPE: What do you think is the biggest challenge in basketball?
Kobie: My biggest challenge in basketball is not immediately seeing results. I have played this game for 10-plus years and the change happens over time.

VYPE: What do you think makes a great basketball player?
Kobie: A great basketball player is composed of many little pieces. Having skill, a drive to win, IQ, and most of all for me is the ability to have a good relationship with my team wherever I go.

Kobie: The best athlete in my family is probably my mom. My mom was one of the best shooters I have ever seen. Her favorite move was a spin move, a very fast and effective one.
