VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?

Karson: My goals for this year are to win a state championship!

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Karson: Softball has taught me to be determined and to fight for what I want.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Karson: My favourite teacher is Mrs. A because she inspired me to be the best that I can be!

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Karson: My mom inspires me because she doesn’t sweat the small stuff that I have no control over, and she pushes me to do my very best in everything I do.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Karson: The teammate that has left their biggest impression on me has been god! He is always by my side through thick and thin.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Karson: My favourite part about being on the team is my teammates. They push me to my limits and hold me accountable. I enjoy being with them on and off the field.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.

Karson: The best athletes in my family are my dad and my uncles. They all played baseball at Owasso and even one of my uncles won two state championships. While one of my other uncles was an all stater. I take advice from them because they have played the game at the collegiate level.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?

Karson: One sport I would play if I didn’t play softball is golf because it teaches life lessons just like softball.

VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song?

Karson: My favourite pregame song is “Run This Town” feat Rihanna.
