Hi, what are you looking for?

Owasso

Q&A with Owasso’s Ryker Haff Presented by RibCrib

What goals do you have for this year?

Ryker: To give up zero sacks like last year and to get four more points on my rating to bring me up to four stars.

What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Ryker: To be tough and never quit!

Who inspires you and why?

Ryker: My mama because she’s so tough. She goes through a lot and makes it look easy with her faith in God.

What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Ryker: One of my older brothers (Hunter) and I got to play together last year and I watched the way he put his head down and went to work, he’s a beast athlete on top of being a great brother. Other than him, Tarique Johnson, my best friend. We’ve always been there for each other and that’s not changing.

What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Ryker: We all look out for each other. We are a family!

Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.

Ryker: We have a really athletic family. I’m not going to get in trouble here and name one. I’m the youngest of four brothers and all four of us and my dad will have played college football. My oldest brother also played rugby in high school and at OSU. We have wrestled, played baseball and basketball also.

What’s your go-to pregame song?

Ryker: “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes.
