Q&A with Skiatook’s Brynlee Frame – Presented by Rib Crib

VYPE: What are your goals this season in softball, both personally and as a team?
Brynlee: Personally, I plan to be a positive leader inside and outside of softball. As for my
team, we plan to win our district, win our regionals, and win state.

VYPE: Where do you feel like you’ve improved the most going into this year?
Brynlee: I feel like I have improved in becoming a leader and have learned how to
communicate with everyone. Being the only senior I feel like I had to step-up and go
outside of my comfort zone in order to help Skiatook Softball.

VYPE: What are your strengths and what have you improved on the most over the
course of your high school career?
Brynlee: I would say one of my best strengths is my IQ in softball. I know what I am doing
before the ball is in play and I feel like this allows me to make the correct decisions and
help my teammates.

VYPE: What’s your most memorable softball moment during your high school
career?
Brynlee: My most memorable softball moment during my high school career was winning
districts and regionals my junior year with my closest friends and teammates. It was an
amazing feeling that I will never forget.

VYPE: Who has been your biggest influence and why when it comes to softball?
Brynlee: All of my coaches, including my dad, have been the biggest influences on me.
Every coach has taught me different things and I am able to take something from each of
them. I would also say my sister, Cambrie Frame, has been a huge influence because she
came to every game growing up and always helped me through difficult moments.

VYPE: What are your plans after high school (college, work, etc)?
Brynlee: I plan to play softball in college and study to become a physical therapist.

VYPE: What are some of your achievements over your career?
Brynlee: As a freshman, I got 4A-All District Utility Player. As a sophomore, I got 4A-
Honorable Mention, and as a junior I got 4A-All District Second Basemen. I have made it to
state two out of three of my previous high school seasons, and plan to make it this year. Out
of the last three years, I have a 0.364 batting average and 0.418 on base percentage.
